Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Dove Awards VIP Experience. From start to finish the night was nothing short of amazing! For those of you that are unfamiliar, the Dove Awards, is an award ceremony that honors outstanding achievements and excellence in Christian and Gospel Music It’s one of the most anticipated music events of the year and I am so glad I got to experience it. Ready for a long post? Grab a cup of hot chocolate…let’s get started!
Welcome Party! The Dove VIP Experience began with appetizers, music plus meet & greets and selfies with artists. The meet & greet had a lot of new/upcoming artists and i but my feet was not ready to stand in lengthy lines!
It was well worth it when I got to meet Young Noah
and V3…

Pre-Show. Following the meet & greet, we headed straight for the Pre-Telecast. The pre-show is an invite-only where majority of the awards are given out. Did you know that only the popular interest/categories are televised? Me either! Nonetheless, I enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and the performances!

Since the pre-show was scheduled to last two hours, I decided to step outside for some fresh air…..
and bumped Vashawn Mitchell…#selfie
….captured this lovely snapshot of the newly engaged couple Colton Dixon and Annie Coggeshall
Sadie Robertson, Jason Crabb and Erica Campbell
Backstage Tour. Immediately following the pre-show, I was given a behind the scenes tour of what happens on the other side of the Dove Stage. It was really hard to capture photos during this process due to the lightening. However, I enjoyed peeking in the celebrity dressing rooms and witnessing the last minute chaos! Ha!
I was presented with my own award for the best blogger…sike! FYI, this is the actual award that’s presented to the winners! Following the backstage tour, we were treated to a dinner and then seated for the show.
The Show. The show was phenomenal! It reminded me of Psalms 133:1…How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
You have a chance to witness this unity on Sunday, October 18th on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN)….make sure you’re watching!
