Hey Thriftanistas!
Are you ready for the weekend? I am looking forward to some rest and relaxation! I am so proud that I achieved my goal of blogging all week…now let’s see how I hold up the rest of the month. Ha! Honestly, I saved this post for the end of the week because I wasn’t pleased with this skirt that I purchased from Center of Hope Thrift Store. More details inside….
I was thrilled when I discovered this brand-new skirt in Anniston, Alabama because I have never ordered clothing from Choies. Choies is an overseas discount shopping website that is very popular among YouTubers. Personally, I have read mixed reviews about the sizing/structuring of the clothing that I was too afraid to purchase online.
This skirt was poorly constructed: the stitching in the waist creates a pouch and the back rises showcasing your derriere. I only paid $2.50 for the skirt but I learned a valuable lesson. First, I need to try on all clothes and I won’t be ordering from Choies. Moral of the story: Sometimes, thrifting does wrong. However, you didn’t spend much so it’s an easy recovery.
