Congrats are in order for Tropical  Smoothie Café in Madison, Alabama.  On Thursday, the Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming the newest smoothie bar to the community.  It’s located in the heart of Madison and is a healthy option for locals. The café celebrated with giveaways and product tastings. In addition, the first 50 customers lined up received a free smoothie for a year!  I was excited to see that Tropical Smoothie Café has employed a lot of the teens residing in Madison County and the design of the restaurant was so inviting.  The island inspired atmosphere is going to be hit amongst visitors and locals.  Check out more pictures of the café inside.

The 1.600 square foot café employs 15 team members and offers a healthier lifestyle with a variety of menu options.

I absolutely love the bright colors and art work!

I tried the Thai Chicken wrap with a Sunrise Sunset smoothie and it was delicious!  The Thai Chicken wrap was comprised of grilled chicken, wontons, carrots, sesame seeds, romaine, cilantro, scallions & thai peanut dressing in a flour tortilla. It’s a unique take with bold seasoning and fresh vegetables that stirred up my taste buds in a major way!

I was unable to score a free smoothie for a year because the line was wrapped around the corner….
