How to Thrift: Goodwill Outlets

Last weekend, I experienced my first Goodwill Outlet and it was crazy!

Upon entering , I was greeted with a large bins of clothing. The bins were not categorized by clothing size nor gender.

However, they did have separate bins for shoes, purses and households items.

I dug for hours…..

And even came across some questionable items….

Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in finding anything I wanted.  If you plan shopping a Goodwill outlet I suggest you take a group of friends because it’s impossible to tackle all those bins by yourself!

Overall, I had a great time and I can’t wait to try my luck next time.  Have you shopped at a Goodwill Outlet? Share your experience below!

  1. I have the hardest time finding anything at the Goodwill outlet. It’s definitely easier to go with a thrifting buddy. I love how you style your outfits.

  2. There are three in my area. I have gotten African fabric, a box of craft beads for making jewelry, sterling silver ring, alligator handbag, large box of costume jewelry, leather handbags, to name a few goodies. The stores can be fun, but there are also very aggressive, competitive, greedy, rude and inconsiderate people shopping, who fill their carts to the brim, then want to ask questions about their purchases while at the register. Depending on my found treasure, I will endure the long wait or just drop it where in the closest bin and leave.
