This past Saturday, I attended The Ladies Lounge Interest Meeting.  The Ladies Lounge mission is to provide women with an opportunity to step away from their busy lives on a monthly basis to lounge with other women in an empowering atmosphere.  You can expect to connect on a personal and/or professional level, share knowledge and personal stories/journeys, and uplift by creating a sisterhood. This entire movement behind this organization, is everything I believe in and practice on a daily basis.  Without a doubt, I jumped at the opportunity to be involved and surrounded by other women who feel and think the same as I do.

The meeting was held at Surin of Thailand and everyone was all about positivity.  From authors to business owners each woman story was so unique.  We were able to converse over a great meal, network, and even share personal stories. You could feel the energy in the room from a mile away.  I opted to wear a thrifted one piece red jumpsuit, thrifted statement necklace, I’me clutch, and Forever 21 shoes.  I received a 40% off coupon from Forever 21 making these shoes $14.50!

Thrift Tip: A jumpsuit is like a LBD (little black dress) it is an essential piece to have in your wardrobe.  You can dress it up (heels & accessories) or down (sneakers & a cardigan) and can be worn for numerous occasions.  Goodwill usually mix their jumpsuits with their dresses so don’t be surprised if you come across one!!
