The weather in Huntsville didn’t want me to be great for the Springtime in Paris fashion show.  It rained for hours and then in true southern fashion the sun came out a hour before the start of show.  So, I raced to my closet to find a simple but bold piece to create my look.  I decided to go with a $6.00 thrifted dress I picked up this past winter. When I purchased this dress it still had the tag from Canvas (a local clothing store) on it!

Paired with thrifted snakeskin clutch ($3.99), a strappy sandal, and Sephora’s Always Red lip stain…my look was complete!

Thrift Tip:  You can shop out of season in thrift stores and don’t be so concerned with clothing that you overlook the accessories.  Make sure you allot enough time to scan purses, jewelry, and shoes!  The fashion show was Ah-mazing! Model Haven Boutique put on a phenomenal presentation, I look forward to the next show…and of course you can catch me on the front row!  How did you spend your weekend?  Feel free to leave a comment below.
