Hey Thriftanistas,
Have y’all jumped on the clothing box train? I decided to give it a try when Discard to Distinct informed me her company has a bundle package that offers a few clothing items to supplement your current wardrobe . If you are one of those people who can never find anything at a thrift store, then a thrift fashion box is for you! That’s right you don’t have to browse the racks or wait for the color of the week at a brick and mortar thrift store. Dope! I’ve searched the internet and compiled a list of thrift clothing box services. So, let’s see which box is perfect for you!

- Thredup – Thredup offers a box filled with 15 unique finds, starting at $20 per piece. Yikes! Just deposit $10 (nonrefundable) to get your box an the credit applies to any items kept. I absolutely love that Thredup offers a variety of boxes for you to try and it’s not a monthly subscription. You can order anytime and you have 7 days after delivery to return any unwanted items.
- CHC Vintage Dress Subscription – CHC offers vintage dresses from sizes XS-3XL. Here’s how it works: You complete a survey, sit back, relax and get your genuine vintage dresses delivered right to your door. The cost of this service is $40 with a price break options if you subscribe for 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions.
- Mystery Boxes by Nicole State – Nicole State offers mystery boxes on Poshmark for $25. The boxes are not personalized and sizes may vary. These boxes sell out pretty quickly! A lot of resellers purchases these boxes because they have the possibility to include high quality items. This isn’t a subscription service and you can order when available on Poshmark.
- Discard to Distinct – Discard to Distinct offers several style options to suit your fashion needs. With packages as low as $50, it’s worth giving a try! Initially, you take a quiz to determine your style and relax for the full experience. There is no styling fee and shipping is covered.
I will be doing a follow-up post on Discard to Distinct showcasing the beautiful items I received…so stay tuned for my review!
Have you tried a thrift fashion service? What was your experience? I would love to hear about it in the comments and feel free to add some companies I missed!
Black and white always fun to wear. I like the black top paired with a black-white striped skirt.
