Hey Thriftanistas!

If you keep up with what’s going on in the world of fashion, then you know cape coats are on trend this Fall.  Capes have been a hot commodity since Solange’s infamous wedding photos went viral and are still going strong this season.  I must say I was so excited to thrift one in great condition and I’m sure this will be in heavy rotation this winter!  

I decided to keep the look fairly simple with a pair of black leather pants I thrifted earlier in the year, a choker and a bodysuit.  I was so nervous that I was going to get the cape dirty that I opted not to eat or drink.  However, don’t miss out on the cape movement so search those thrift stores!
