Hey Thriftanistas!
As you can see I am all smiles as I go about dropping this weight! Gone, for me, are the days of trying to use the fad diets to drop ten pounds in a week. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about…the Southwest diet, cayenne pepper diet, etc. Girl, with age comes the understanding and appreciation of your most important asset, your health. I’m in no rush to expedite these pounds in fact I’m enjoying the journey…losing weight literally and figuratively.
The past two weeks I have dropped 3 pounds and I couldn’t be more excited. I must admit I haven’t been as disciplined as I should with my diet…you know a Snicker here, Red Lobster there but I’m working! Losing a pound a week is perfectly healthy! I haven’t seen much of a difference in my clothes yet but that hasn’t stopped the slay…ha!
For this week photo-shoot I paired my favorite pair of thrifted boyfriend jeans, caged booties, and a shirt I purchased from Forever 21 last year.
