Hey Thriftanistas!
I must say I’m so proud of my city! Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending Naturals In the City and I had a great time. As a new natural, I think it’s important to learn how to take care of my hair even if I don’t have much. However, I didn’t expect to be educated and empowered in so many areas in one day. From health and exercise to a one on one with a stylist about hair questions there were plenty of things to learn. Check out a few pictures of the event inside
A panel consisting of natural hairstylists kicked off the event with curls and conversations. The audience was allowed to ask questions pertaining to their hair and stylists provided the best products to use for all hair types…
Followed by an amazing fashion show …
a little bit of shopping…
and a discussion about how to improve our health!

Amazing night and so much fun! From the hair demo’s food presentations and tasting, to fashion show, to hair and health panel…I must say I had an amazing time. We’ve gotten great reviews, and we are looking forward to the next event set for October!

I had so much fun! The event was educational and fun! Each one of the vendors fit the show; which was great! My favorite part was the hair panel….I learned a lot about my hair and I thank Naturals In The City for bringing an event like this to Huntsville.
